About

It’s all about you.

I work with chill clients, who are clear communicators, on a flexible schedule, and have a reasonable budget and good attitude. Having a good attitude means being receptive to professional design advice, being engaged in the design and having a sense of humor. I accept clients who want to combine architectural and interior services into one base package, with flexibility to adjust with inevitable changes.

If this sounds like you, then I think we’ll get along great!

My Style is Human-Centered Design

Architecture is, above all, about people. It begins with listening—with empathy—and builds with layers of knowledge and understanding. At its core, design is a form of advocacy. It brings together materials, space, and purpose in service of something greater: multigenerational living, human connection, emotional well-being or simply creating a place that feels like home. We shape environments that mirror who we are and who we aspire to be. Our best work happens when design is deeply contextual—when it reflects real needs, resonates with personal values, and expresses our highest hopes for the future.

Human-centered design is a problem-solving approach that places people at the core of the development process. Instead of starting with architectural trends or standard solutions, I begin by deeply understanding how you live, what frustrates you about your current space, and what would truly make your daily life better.

If this sounds like your style, then we'll get along great!

Connection to Light, Air, and Nature

I believe indoor-outdoor living isn't a luxury—it's a necessity. Natural light transforms how a space feels and functions. I'm intentional about bringing daylight deep into homes, creating connections between interior spaces and the natural world outside.

Clarity Over Clutter

Minimalism in contemporary design isn't about austerity—it's about clarity. Spaces should feel calm and free of unnecessary complications. Every design decision serves your daily life, not an aesthetic agenda.

Architecture as a Reflection of Life

Your home should move and inspire you, not just shelter you. I design spaces that support how you actually live—the morning routines, the family gatherings, the quiet moments of retreat. Great design transforms your daily experience and creates a profound sense of belonging.

Functional Beauty

Style should never compromise functionality. I'm passionate about creating spaces where beauty and livability work together—where the kitchen layout makes cooking a pleasure, where storage is hidden but accessible, where every room feels both stylish and deeply practical.

Emotional Resonance

A home should feel right. It should reflect who you are. My goal is to create that "ah-ha" moment when you see the design and feel instantly at home—when the space becomes an extension of your identity and supports your emotional wellbeing every single day.

…and a bit about me.

A great home is like a fun outfit! I’ve lived in the Bay Area now for 15 years  - it's my home and my second skin. I can identify myself here and find comfort in my relationships and community. I have a strong and lasting network of support within the profession with local architects, engineers and construction professionals. I am responsible for everything in the business, mostly focused on building client relationships and ensuring their individual projects come to life.

My story began with making and studying art throughout grade school, high school and in university where I explored a wide range of mediums. I traveled abroad to Italy where I learned to carve marble sculpture at the Accademia Di Belle Arti in Bologna. Form making and design become closely intertwined – it became clear that the field of architecture would satisfy a creative urge within a more collaborative environment. I enrolled in the M.Arch program at California College of the Arts in 2009 and quickly became ‘afflicted’ with architecture.

I’ve worked in the San Francisco bay area residential architecture field for 12 years and continue to develop my expertise. I attribute a large part of my learning to my employment with Architect Mason Kirby who taught me how to design homes from ground up. I also collaborate with Cari Designs Architecture on a variety of East Bay residential projects.

Let’s meet up.
